Corner & Cross Weight Calculator
Enter your 4 individual corner weights to instantly see total vehicle weight, weight distribution (F/R, L/R), and your critical cross-weight tuning metric.
Perfectly balanced!
Corner Balance Setup
Corner weights assume the vehicle is level and on a flat scale. Suspension ride height, tire pressure, and platform surface stiffness affect accuracy.
Always weigh your vehicle properly; wheel balancing on a suspension-equipped scale is the gold standard.
Methodology
Corner %: Weight on one corner ÷ Total Weight × 100
Target Balance: 50/50 front-to-rear, 50/50 left-to-right (ideal baseline)
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do tires matter for corner weight readings?
Tire pressure affects spring length and suspension geometry. Warm tires (after driving) vs cold produce different readings. For consistency, always measure at the same tire pressure and temperature.
Should I adjust one corner at a time?
Yes. Adjust one corner, measure all four, then repeat. Small changes in one corner affect load distribution on all four. Taking notes prevents trial-and-error.
What's the ideal corner weight balance?
Front: 55-65% of total weight (rear: 35-45%). If one corner is 3% off from the opposite, adjust suspension. Some race formats allow specific front-to-rear ratios.
