Your Lapsite profile is mission control for your user account. This is where you configure your primary public identity, manage your email and password security, handle your billing, and teach the AI Content Assistant how to write for you.

When you navigate to `/profile`, you'll find everything organized into three main tabs: Profile & Security, Billing & Subscription, and AI Content Assistant.

1. Profile & Security

This central tab houses the core details of your identity and your account's safety. It's broken down into three collapsible sections to keep things clean.

Profile Settings / Profile Overview: Here, you can upload your global Avatar image. Just like the Media Gallery, Lapsite accepts camera files up to 10MB and automatically compresses them to lightning-fast WebP formats. This section also displays read-only data like your unique `User ID`, your `Member Since` date, and any special access badges (like `Beta Access`). Display Name: The global, human-readable name attached to your account. Username: This is the most crucial setting on the page! Your username defines your base URL (e.g., `username.lapsite.app`). The 5-Change Limit: To prevent link-rot and system abuse, Lapsite limits you to changing your username a maximum of 5 times. The system will clearly warn you of how many changes you have left. You can get in touch with our support team if you hit this limit. Real-time Checks: As you type, Lapsite checks the database to ensure your desired username isn't already taken. Sign Out: The primary sign-out button is located at the absolute bottom of this form.

Security: Email & PasswordFor safety reasons, changing your account email or your password is handled in this isolated section.

Danger Zone: If you ever decide to delete your account entirely, you do it here. Note: If you have an active Pro/Max subscription or active £5 image add-ons, the system will lock the delete button and require you to cancel your active billing first.

2. Billing & Subscription

The Billing & Subscription tab is your financial hub.

If you just upgraded your plan from the pricing page, you'll be redirected back to this tab with a confetti success message confirming your new "Pro" or "Max" status.

From this dashboard, you can: View your current active plan. Manage or cancel your recurring subscription. Manage any recurring `£5/mo Image Add-on` expansions you've purchased for your Media Gallery.

3. AI Content Assistant

Instead of writing boring "About Me" sections manually, Lapsite includes an AI Content Assistant that can deeply learn your brand tone, your career history, and how you want to be represented.

Once you teach the AI your preferences, it will follow you into the Editor for any template, ready to generate perfectly tuned content for your specific site.

  • Configuration Status: If you've already filled out your AI Profile, you'll see a green `Configured` badge next to the section title.
  • The AI Form: This form asks for specifics like your racing background, key sponsors, your specific tone of voice (e.g., "Professional & Serious" vs "Hype & Energetic"), and your future goals. The more detail you provide here, the better your generations will be in the Editor!
