The Lapsite dashboard is your central command center. When you log in, this is the first page you see, giving you an immediate, high-level overview of everything happening across your account. In this guide, we'll break down every piece of the dashboard so you can efficiently manage multiple sites, check your analytics, and optimize your online presence.

The Top Navigation Bar - provides your global controls and quick links:

  • Gallery: Quick access to the Lapsite Media Gallery, where all your uploaded images and assets are stored across all your templates.
  • New Site: A dedicated button jumping straight into the template selection screen so you can spin up an additional site instantly.
  • Help Menu: Need a refresher? The Help menu on the far right lets you restart the interactive Spotlight tour for the dashboard at any time.
  • Profile: Access your profile settings, including 'Profile & Security', 'Billing & Subscription', and configure your 'AI Content Assistant' via your user avatar in the top right.

The Profile URL Banner

At the very top of your dashboard, you'll see the Profile URL Banner. This is arguably the most important quick-action element on the page.

  • Your Username Domain: This displays your live base URL (e.g., `username.lapsite.app`).
  • Default Site Status: If you have multiple sites published, the banner clearly indicates which site acts as your "Default" (the site visitors see when they visit your base URL).
  • Quick Actions: Next to the domain, you have one-click `Copy` and `View Live` buttons, making it incredibly easy to share your link on Instagram, Facebook, or with sponsors immediately.

Active vs. Archived Sites

Your dashboard is cleanly split into two main tabs to help keep your workspace organized: 'Active' and 'Archived'.

Active Sites

This tab shows all the websites you are currently building or have published live to the internet.

Each active site is presented as a card featuring:

1

The Template Name:

Displayed prominently in a bold, full-width supreme-style banner across the top (e.g., '/ STUDIO /' or '/ LINKS')

2

Site Title & Badges:

Indicates the custom name you gave the site, alongside badges showing its status (Published/Draft/Needs Upgrade), its Division, whether it is Single/Multi-page, and if it's your `Default` active site.

3

Last Updated:

The date the site was last modified.

4

Action Buttons:

At the bottom, you have quick access buttons depending on the site's state: 1: Analytics: Jump straight to your traffic stats (Requires Pro or Max). 2: View Live: Opens your live website in a new tab. 3: Editor: Opens the site editor to make changes.

Archived Sites

If you want to unpublish a site but keep all its data and layout saved for later, you can archive it.

Archived sites live in this secondary tab. They are completely hidden from the public internet, but you can unarchive them with a single click whenever you're ready to bring them back online.

Site Action Menus (The 3 Dots)

On the top right of every site card, you'll find a three-dot menu `[...]`. This dropdown holds the master controls for that specific site.

Here's what you can do from this menu:

  • View Live (Set Username): Takes you straight to the live, public version of the site.
  • Set as Default / Remove Default: Choose which site loads when someone visits your main `username.lapsite.app` link.
  • Rename: Change the internal title of your site to help you organize things better.
  • Archive / Unarchive: Move the site between your Active and Archived tabs.

Delete: Permanently erase the site and all its analytics data. This cannot be undone.

Managing Analytics

At the bottom of your active site cards, you will see an 'Analytics' button adorned with a little bar chart icon.

Clicking this button takes you to a dedicated dashboard showing your traffic, views, and clicks for that specific site.

Pro / Max Plans: You'll have unrestricted access to dive into this data.

Free Plans: The Analytics button will feature a `Lock` icon. Clicking it will prompt you to upgrade your plan. Knowing your traffic is crucial for proving your value to sponsors!
